The problem is with your screen. There is some way to set a "NewLook" flag
for the screen... I think you just have to set the drawing pens.

You need to use the SA_PENS tag in your call to OpenScreenTagList(). It
takes a pointer to an array of colour indices - I think you'll find it in
the Libraries RKM Screens chapter (the first one I think :-). (Haven't
got mine with me at the moment).

Anyway, the upshot is that Intuition assumes your application knows about
the 3D look and so it gives you a 3D screen.
